IT 관련 업무를 주로 하다 보면, 자산 관리가 정말 정말 귀찮고 힘들다.
컴퓨터, 모니터, 서버, 하드, 메모리, 그리고 소프트웨어.. 등등 관리할 것도 많고 변동 사항도 많고 일일히 Excel 수작업을 통해
일일히 수정하는 것도 보통의 일이 아니다.
수년동안 이놈의 Asset 땜시 머리가 아플때가 엄청 많았다.
개발을 해서 사용해 볼까 하고 못하는 코딩으로 사이트를 만들어 보기도 하고,
WordPress를 통해 Asset 관리를 해 볼까 고민도 해 보고,
여러가지 방법들을 시도해 보았지만 번번히 실폐했었는데,
요 근래 Asset Tiger라는 사이트를 알게 되었고, 정말 유용하게 이용하고 있다.
물론 위 사이트 이용은 공짜다
장점을 몇가지 들자면,
- 새로운 Field를 원하는(Text, Dropdown, 등등) 데로 추가 할수 있다.
- 특정 Field를 특정 Category에 연결 할수 있다.
- 변동 사항들을 계속적으로 추가 기록할 수 있다.
- Contract, Lease, Warranty 등을 적용할 수 있다.
- Asset 번호를 자동 부여 할수 있다.
- Customized 된 Report를 만들수 있다.
- 웹사이트라 어디서든지 Access 할수 있다.
- Check Out시 특정 장소로 Check Out이 가능하다.
- IT Asset 뿐만 아니라 회사내 모든 Asset 관리가 가능하다.
- 공짜다.
단점을 몇가지 적어 보자면,
- Description이 Asset Title처럼 표시 되기 때문에 상당히 애매하다.(Require 필드라 빈공백으로 둘수가 없다)
- iPad, iPhone App이 만족스럽지 못하다.
- 공짜이기 때문에 언제 서비스가 종료될지 모른다.(약간 불안하다)
특별히 단점이 별로 없을 만큼 좋은 SaaS 이지만 공짜다.
정말 괜찮은 Asset 관리 사이트라고 생각한다.
